The Invader is possibly the most awesome pickup in the Seymour Duncan range. The tone of this pickup is transformative for any guitar. The Invader is a beast, with big, overwound coils, distinct oversized metal pole pieces, and three large ceramic magnets.

Every note is richer, fuller, more saturated, punchier, and brighter. This pickup does heavy in a way that's difficult to understand until you use one. Low-tuned riffs remain detailed, pinched harmonics absolutely sing, and solos are fuller!
