Ernie Ball Slinky bass strings are made using their smooth nickel-plated steel wire wrapped over a high carbon, tinned steel hex core for consistently good tuning stability and intonation.

Every Ernie Ball Slinky bass set is made at their factory in Coachella, CA where the ambient humidity is 0% creating perfect conditions for string making.  Once sealed in their air-tight foil wraps these strings stay factory fresh until they’re put on your bass.
