Augustine Classic/Gold Classical Guitar Strings, Regular Trebles / Low Tension Basses

The only Augustine strings to deviate from the original silver winding that Albert Augustine perfected.  Classic/Gold basses feature brass wire that imbues a flush, shimmering tone often preferred by flamenco and jazz players.

Trebles: normal tension nylon
Basses: medium-low tension, brass-plated copper over nylon multifilament

Albert Augustine, an instrument maker, found himself pressured by none other than Andres Segovia to manufacture and sell nylon guitar strings. He did so, insuring the rise of a new generation of concert players and lending his own part to the cultivation and completion of the famous Segovia Sound.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging.
