Here’s something different for you to try. We get many acoustic guitarists chasing a warmer tone, or softer feel, or more dynamic sound, and it often seems that players haven’t considered nylon ‘classical’ strings for their acoustic.
This specific set uses 80/20 brass wound over a nylon core for the basses which has an inherently rich, sonorous, thick bass with vibrant top-end and clarity. The black nylon trebles are dynamic and attacking but far softer than the zing of steel plains. Solo passages and melodies sound thicker and musical than ever.
A very distinct and different sound on your regular steel 6-string but maybe exactly what you’re after.
A word from La Bella:
The 830 Folksinger set has ball-end black nylon trebles and Golden Alloy wound basses. A special design, the nylon strings include a small ball attached to one end of each string. Easy to use, this eliminates tying each nylon string to the bridge and is suitable for both Spanish style folk and classical guitars.
