Innovation SILVER SLAP Nylon-over-Silver Double Bass Strings, Low Tension

Innovation Double Bass Strings use a unique, non-metallic core which provides a gut-like tone and response without the cost or maintenance of gut upright bass strings. They hold their pitch well in climate and temperature changes, with many of the strings equally suited for pizz or arco playing.

Wound with clear nylon tape over a silvered copper winding (giving them a silver hue) Innovation Silver Slaps are thick, low tension strings perfect for slapping. 

Like their Super Silvers brethren, Silver Slap strings have a more organic, gut-like tone, that is round with a blunt attack and quick decay. These characteristics please the musician that is looking for the sound of gut strings, but without the stability and durability concerns. 

Favoured in rockabilly and bluegrass circles, Super Silver strings are suitable for any genre, or for the player looking for an "old school" tone at a low, easy playing tension.
