DR Handmade PURE BLUES Electric Guitar Strings

DR Pure Blues strings revive a more original and vintage electric guitar tone. The wrap wire is warm-sounding pure nickel and the core is round which has great sustain and a nice flexible feel. To my ear they’re actually brighter and punchier than other pure nickel strings which must be down to the core:wrap ratio. In fact, I find them more akin to modern electric guitar strings with a little more flex. DR says the build process is slower and more expensive than other modern strings and I think that is reflected in the feel of the strings, but thankfully not the price!
