The 5.8 GHz frequency range is less crowded than 2.4 GHz, so with the A58 system you’re less likely to encounter interference from other wireless devices in the area. A58’s astounding 100-foot wireless range gives you the freedom to go anywhere—onstage, or off! A58 offers both Passive and Active modes, so you can use instruments with any kind of pickup, from vintage passive to high-gain active.
The A58 system offers a choice of six different wireless channels to choose from. But here’s the best part: it’s able to scan the available channels and automatically choose the one with the strongest, clearest signal! Each time you’re in a new venue, press the scan button on the receiver to find and set the best channel, and then set the transmitter to the the same one. When you turn off your transmitter and receiver between sets, and turn them on again, your most recent channel selection will be recalled.
