The great thing about this type of physical shield coating is that it stops all sweat, contaminants, and other invaders from getting to the string surface; likewise, it stops your oily, grubby fingers from physically touching the strings too.

The Elixir Nanoweb coating will reliably increase your typical string life by 3-5 times, along with the plain strings which are also anti-rust treated!  This means you get bright, clear and full tone for so much longer than you usually would.
