I've been using EXL165TPs for years, and I find their quality second to none, they sound fantastic and they last longer than any other brand I've tried in the past.

D'Addario EXL165TP Roundwound Bass Strings 45-105 Nickel, Twin Pack

I've been using D'Addario strings for several years after a recommendation from a friend. They sound and feel very good, and I've never had a duff set, something that was fairly common with the brand I used for years before D'Addario. I like to change my strings every 3 months and D'Addario strings easily last this time and maintain brightness and intonation. I had one set on a bass for over a year and they still sounded fairly bright!
