In the 1940’s in California, inventor Leo Fender discovered that he could dramatically improve on the quality of amplified hollow-body guitars with simple introduction of a solid-body electric guitar.  A few years later, in 1951 the first commercially mass-produced electric, solid-body guitar was introduced to the world market: the Telecaster!  Later that year, the first fretted ‘Precision’ Bass joined the Tele in becoming the foundation of popular music and modern rock.  The Stratocaster joined the ranks in 1954 with its pioneering tremolo system and went on to revolutionize popular music.

Fender opened its flagship factory in 1985 in Corona, California followed quickly by another development in Ensenada, Mexico in 1987 along with the introduction of the Fender Custom Shop in the Corona facility.  Fender has now become one of the biggest brands in manufacturing, distributing and marketing of musical instruments in the world and are the most famous electric guitar brand.

Strings Direct are an official dealer of Fender genuine strings, accessories and parts.

Fender American Stratocaster Neck, Medium Jumbo, Modern C

My fender elite stratocaster neck arrived well packaged, boxed within a box, and was in perfect condition with no warps, dings, rough fret ends, scratches. I could simply attach it to my U.S. standard, fix the tuners, fit strings, tune up and it plays fantastic with no fret buzz and it feels like silk. The nut is pre-slotted with what is described as guide slots, this is mentioned in the product description, for aiding in a proper nut adjustment but I just stuck a set of 09-42 gauge on and the existing slots are absolutely fine and will do the job until I take it to a luthier for this final adjustment, in the meantime I have no tuning or intonation problems whatsoever. A more than worthwhile purchase.
