This is fantastic addition to any guitarists toys/gadgets and effects. I recently used it to great effect on a recording, layering the sounds four times, each time playing in harmony to the previous recording. Ended up sounding like a mini-orchestra! Like learning to ride a bike, you'll take a few tumbles finding the technique but it is actually a doddle. Sounding like the demos on the CD might take a lifetime though! Shop around for a cheaper price though, then badger Strings Direct for a price match. They'll price beat plus you'll have the confidence of buying from a terrific company.

Set you delay,turn you tone down and strum(yes strum!!!!!) & do some fancy sweeps with you wah pedal....It's bringing a tear to my eye just thinking about. I absoultly love this. It really changes the "atmosphere" of a song. In my gadget box (and I have many gadgets in there) this is the main peanut in the pack. You can do so much with an E(l)bow and it just brings a whole new sound & feel to your playing. This works well if you also have a string section to work with also. This "toy" gets 19/5 but I cant put that much on rating scale

This is the 4th generation Ebow, & is a real beauty, giving all the bowing effects & neverending sustain of previous incarnations on one setting, plus some interesting high harmonic sounds on a second, new, setting. <br>The sound is a lot crisper than before, with good resonance, & there's a nice blue LED to help guide you across the strings, & let you know it's switched on [no more unintentional flat batteries there]. <br>It's a bit tricky to use at first, but once you get the hang of it, is a real hoot. Mind you, if you're like me, you might enjoy all the howls & scrapes & other noises from improper use! The sustain & feedback are unbelievable, & without having to turn up your amp - in fact, you have to turn it down!!! <br>There's a comprehensive leaflet explaining all the ins & outs, & a cassette so you can hear what these are supposed to sound like. <br>Fudd's Impediment, you even get a free no-pick badge & sticker! <br>What more do you need?
