I like to my guitar to C standard (C/F/Bb/Eb/G/C) and these strings have just the right amount of tension to stay in tune, I only had to stretch them a couple of times before tuning became stable and they sound very pronounced and clear even in a lower register, so if you like to tune low without having to worry about your string flopping around or falling out of tune then these strings should be ideal!

Just a warning to those of you with schaller locking tuners - The low 60w string was far too big to fit through them. They sound like a great idea, but for me, it was massive overkill. Set up my guitar with a set of standard 12s which did the trick fine.

I have been trying to get a set of strings for Drop C Tuning for a long time, to get the balance is extrely difficult. However these do Keep the tension across all the strings exept for the 'G' String for some reason it's a little bit looser, however it's the closest i've ever been to getting a smooth setup for this kind of tuning. To make things even better for, i've always used D'Addario consistantly, have moved over to Dean Markley, Ernie Ball, DR and even to Rotosound (once) and D'addarios last longer than any of them, they have a brilliant and unique sound which none of the others have, I didn't have to put this, i'm not getting anything from this review I just thought you should know!
