great strings

I use these on my ES 335, they're a perfect complement to the instrument's versatility : they sound great for jazz while the high strings are still light enough to bend for rock / blues / fusion styles. The tone is amazing and they last long too.

Excellent!

My first post about these strings wasn't very good, however, after having to use the remaining sets that I bought I am having to eat a slice of humble pie!! The main concern with the first set was the G string which sounded awful. The intonation of my guitar is set up to perfection, so that wasn't the problem. I can only put it down to a defect with the string. All the remaining sets have been excellent and I will be ordering more in the future!! The tone of the strings are first class and they stay in tune like no string I've ever used before!!! I am now a happy man!!

For ages I couldn't find a string that perfectly balanced my guitar for the tunings I required and the tone I was after. I used Ernie Ball Power Slinkys and they were all right, but never lasted any length of time. I tried Beefy Slinkys and hated them. Used Rotosound Roto Reds for ages and loved them, lasted ages and gave great tone, but the lower end was too light. So i tried the D'addario hybrid gauge and I have not used anything other and wont consider anything else now. D'addario all the way ! Great balance, great tone, great life.

I've used Ernie Ball strings for years but fancied a change so I tried a set of D'Addario's on my strat. Bad move, they lasted on my guitar for a week! I couldn't stand the lack of tone compared to my usual set. Ernie Ball's are better by a long way!
