Clearly planet waves version of fast fret, so it makes sense to compare the 2 - this is easier to get the lubricant onto the strings with (the sponge has more give) and is saturated with more teflon (I assume it's teflon) than fast fret, so doesn't take as long to get the feel I prefer. It is however, a bit more expensive & I dont think (judging by eye) it has quite a much in it, so may need replacing quicker. More effective than fast fret as a cleaner, but doesnt come supplied with a cloth (I like to use the one provided with "the swipe" anyway) for taking away excess. All in all, I prefer it to fast fret & will continue to use it as a pre-practice cleaner/lubricant, followed by the swipe post-practice - if it were a bit more competatively priced, i'd raqte it higher.
