Nickel Plated Electric Guitar Strings wound on Round Cores. Tite-Fit round-wound nickel-plated electric guitar strings are designed to be a great all-around string. They are available in a wide range of gauges. Based upon a round core, the construction techniques for the Tite-Fit electrics are very old. However, the core wire and wrap wire in DRs are the latest, most advanced and expensive metals available. For flexibility, for tone, for long life: for Rock, Blues, Heavy metal, Jazz, Tite-Fits are a wonderful all-around string.

Dr Strings 'Half Tite'

The 0.9 - 0.44 gauge are really useful. Maybe it's just me but some guitars feel right with a set of 9 gauge strings, some feel right with a set of 10's and some feel like they could do with something between the two. These are the only strings I know of in a 0.9 - 0.44 gauge, and I love 'em. Excellent strings.

...as used by Ascension.

These strings are by a very loong way the best I have ever used.
Used to stick with D'addario XLs before finding these but I can never go back now.
The tone is absolutely exquisite, the sound is powerful, the feel of the strings is great.
All round you cannot get better guitar strings than this. End of.

I play a Razorback 'V' with active EMG's through an Engl Screamer and these strings make you wet your pants!! Shredding, chugging, harmonics & loads of whammy bar abuse are no problem to these fella's. I've used many strings including ROTO, Ernie's, Daddario and other DR's but for a metalhead like me.... ...these are great.

Seriously heavy, seriously tough!!

I've been using DR's for 3 years now - these are the only strings I haven't been able to break - and they blow away every other brand I've ever played. The tone is awsome - the notes just spit out of my rig whether set on clean, filth or stun! You do have to turn the gain down a bit on the clean channel to tame the tone though but, hey, it's well worth it. If you're in the habit of digging in really deep when you play choose DR's.......they're perfectly suited to aggressive playing styles.

THE BEST

Ive used rotos, ernie's, GHS. DR strings beat them all hands down.

Best strings I have ever used and I've used a few in my 30 years of playing. They just last forever and rarely break.

I still stand by what i said in my last review, These are very powerfull and tonefull strings! Especially in distortion! But clean isnt sooo clean! But if your a metalhead, and like to get down and dirty, thier also great for soloing, if you like that kind of thing!

great strings,i`ve used them whenever i could get them. they are quite pricy but they do last 3-4 weeks longer than any other string i`ve tried. i recommend them to everyone i come across and no one has so far gone back to they`re old brand. `the mustard`.

I love the idea of small independant companies making a quality product in a traditonal way.I'd love to recomend these strings but I can't.They sound only OK ,and for the money that's not good enough. Also they are horribly slack and break more quickly than any other string I've ever played.Avoid.

Hmmm...

Over-priced and durability is no way as good as people say it is. I'd easily go for some rotos above these, they last longer. I'm sure the people that make them are nice...

very hard hitting, head smashing sound!

OK,im not going to go and say ''These are the best strings i've ever tried! They totaly rock!'' When these strings are played through a cooking amp whith awsome pickups then things are great! Then id call then the best strings ever! But if your just doing some shit jam without decent kit, they sound crap! These are performance strings! aand i've given them a 5 because they perform that well! Dont get disheartened by this as many other reviews, may make you feel, but try them this is just my point of view, also try daddario, they're good all round! Try these tho! And if you dont like them, thats up to you! Good luck!
