I started using these strings a while back and they seem to stay in tune for longer have a fantastic tone, and don't seem to dip as much during bends compared to other brands.
Fantastic!!
Great Strings

I've Been Using Dean Markley's 10-46 Reguler On My Gibson Firebird, And My Gibson Sg, And I Think They Are Great, Last A Long Time. I Really Whack My Strings, And Bend Them Everywhere, These Are The Only Strings I Find Can Take It, I Would Recommend Them To Other Guitarists!
Bye Bye :)

RUBBISH,,, these strings insult me, they turned up bent and with kinks in them. i use GHS fast fret and it should improve string life... within 4 days the strings are stripped of their coating,,, bah!!! you get what you pay for! the malmsteen ones are great but im going to stick with DR company.
I've used 8's for 20yrs or more and have been using Dean Markley for at lease 15. I gig and rehearse regularly and have NEVER broken a string (touch wood!) DM's retain tone for ages unlike Ernie Ball's which seem to 'die' after just a few gigs.
Great Strings
Excellent strings, sound great on my gibson les paul, not as good on my strat though, great sustain however the dont last too long, if your after long lasting performance rather than tone then try the the blue steel. Although there a bit more expensive.
not bad strings- wont let you down, but to be honest i think youre better off paying the extra few pence for some blue steel - they last a fair bit longer.
I usually use the Blue-Steels but sometimes I use these simply because they are cheaper and it all add's up when you'ree stringing a few guitars!
<br/>
<br/>They compare very favourably to blue steels, in fact they are very nearly identical which should come as no surprise since the only difference in manufacturing is that the Blue Steels are cryo treated. Slightly less bright, which could be considered a plus or a minus depending on your preferences and if you have corrosive sweat then they don't last quite as long (with neutral sweat I find they're just as long lived)
<br/>
<br/>In summary, if you have the cash and want the slightly extra punchiness (or even just to sate your ego!), go for the Blue Steels, otherwise these are still one of the best sets of strings money can buy.
Playable
I am extremely hard on strings. I bought the regulars (10s) and I have broken the D and A strings within a week and a half. I know its pathetic. But if You want an extremely long lasting string don't get these, supoosedly the Blue Steels by Dean Markley are slightly better. Knowing me they'll last a month at most...
Good strings

I've been using these strings on my Fender Squier Telecaster for the past year that I've been playing, and I've found these pretty good. The sound on the bigger strings compared to the D'Addarrio ones of the same calibre is more 'metal-ish' while the smaller strings have a different tone. I find that these do last a good while and are as good as the D'Addarios most of the time (in some cases better). I haven't tried the other calibres but these are pretty darn good, though I guess it depends on the guitar you're using.
