I've used Ernie Ball strings since I first started playing guitar nearly 20 years ago. Over the years I've tried loads of different brands and none have been as good as the Ernie Ball Slinky range. Never ever broken a string while doing things the way they should be done, if you manage to break an EB string, then you are doing it wrong. I highly recommend them to anyone who has never tried them before. Perfect for standard Eb or Drop D tunings. Look to Power Slinky or Beefy for lower tunings.

I used these strings for years, before trying and becoming hooked on D'Addario strings. The sound is fairly weak, the strings don't last long, and they break easily (a couple of times they've broken whilst I was breaking them in!)

Do the job! Tend to last about 3 weeks of daily playing before they become a nuisance.
