Rotosound Nexus Polymer Coated Electric Guitar Strings
Mention a Type 52 pure nickel alloy string to discerning guitarists and they will tell you about the extra lift that the higher magnetism offers. Now shroud it with a special black polycoat material and you have a high energy string smooth to the touch, rich in warm tones with extended life.

Wow! I bought these strings from a shop in Bristol - thankfully not having read this review!
I think they're brilliant. Can't imagine why anyone would think that guitar strings don't need re tuning every day as any channge in temperature makes any string expand or contract. Just something you get used to as soon as you start to learn to play.
And actually I think the three black three gold strings look really cool on my Epi Broadway as it matches the hardware.
I think they fine. Just about to place an order.

I might like to add to my prior reviiew that these strings also sound horrible when amplified, they are muddy and dull and very unresponsive. And they sound even worse at high gain, they seem to have a knack of making a bridge pickup sound like a neck pickup, and a neck pickup sound like you are picking at the 12th fret (if you dont know what this sounds like, try it with your amp cranked). Very bad.

Strings Direct has by far the best customer service Ive known, its a shame they have to be seen selling these atrocious things. I bought a set of these from a local shop out of desperation when Stringsdirect didnt have my usual Optima Gold strings, and I must say Ive never been more annoyed. These are terrible. They do not hold tension at all, which considering Im using a set of 10s in Drop B, is abominable (my Optima gold 10s manage Drop B with no issue, why dont these?) Not only do they need retuning every day, but the low strings are overly flobby and loose and the high strings play a gauge or two higher, which is a very offputting combination for fast playing and string skipping. Not only that, but the top three strings weren't even black!!! These strings are not cheap by any means (not elixir or optima expensive, but hardly throwaway) so for £11 I think Id rather have 10 copies of big issue and a mars bar, and a guitar with no strings at all. These are terrible. Buy Optima Gold.
