I use a lot of altered tunings and rely heavily on capos to get me to the keys I need. 80% of my set involves a capo and the Shubb is by far the best I've used. The shubb is designed around the tried and tested 'over centre' engineering principle and is much more sturdy and reliable than pretty much any other capo. A Shubb requires two hands to reposition. What benefit is a one-handed capo? There's nothing you can usefully achieve with your free hand in the 20 seconds it takes to reposition a capo.

i know alot who would disagree with me, but iv'e tried triggers, gliders, and even the old school 'pencil and elastic band', and imho, i find that the shubb is the best capo on the market. the durability is great, the value for money unbeatable. also, it doesnt stick off the neck of your guitar like a sore thumb.

Bought this to replace my Dunlop Trigger-style capo. Not so easy to fit in a hurry, but does a better job. The adjustable tension means it's much easier to use without pulling the strings out of tune behind the fret, especially important on electrics.

Bought my first Shubb Capo (slightly earlier style) 2 years ago. Great quality, inobtrusive, very effective and easy to use. I now have two! (One for each guitar.) <br>www.lowejones.co.uk
