Very well made, I chose Nickel and it is nicely finished. Comfortable to hold, simple to use and grips the neck well. A no fuss capo that should provide years of hassle free service.

The mechanism works well, but the quality of the finish is very poor. I bought the “gold” one, expecting it to look like the picture. It looked to have a similar finish to my Kyser – a very smooth satin gold. However, the Dunlop has a very bad dull gold paint look, like Hammerite paint. It also had a slight dent and the thumb grip was slightly out of place. Although these issues are only cosmetic, and don,t affect the operation of the capo, compared to other Dunlop accessories, this will not look good with your guitar.

Just received my new Dunlop Trigger and it really is a fantastic capo. It has much cleaner lines than the Kyser and feels very sturdy. My one concern is that it doesn't seem to be as good as the Kyser when using it upside down on the top five strings only to keep the bottom E string open. In this case, the top E string seems to be fretted very lightly. I'll keep my Kyser for those tunings, but use the Dunop for everything else!

Through myself, friends and contact with other Muso's I've tried many weird and wonderful capo's.... these are the best.. by a country mile.

much quicker to fit .... and far fewer problems with tuning after it hammers on. damn good!! issues with lost tension over the years are noted, however....i'd better keep my schubb in reserve...!

im the same as jonnyboy. ive had one for about 6 years and its lost a lot of tension compared to new ones. still works fine tho. ive currently got a G7, Shubb and jim dunlop capo and gave away a keiser one. this is definately the best

i've had one for about 4 years and recently it's lost its tension however i think this is the best capo around as i used my friend's Shubb and this is far easier to use while performing and can be placed on guitar head when not being used. while it doesn't last as long as the shubb its much better! buy it

the handle on kyer’s trigger capo makes the adjacent frets feel a bit claustrophobic for me. jim dunlop’s trigger capo doesn’t give me this problem as it faces the opposite way. this is a great tool, easy, fast and effective. i like it so much i bought another incase i lost it!

clamps down hard in a second...even better than my shubb, and that's saying something!

its amazing, it just works, and its solid too. i have to say, the spring on mine is starting to loosen slightly, but thats for use, coz its so damn fine. buy one now

I've had one of these for a while - It holds the strings down great, and doesn't affect tuning, and it's definately useable with one hand. The only one you'll ever buy, unless you lose it, like I have - and I'm getting another one...

This capo has illuminated a whole new style of playing to me and many others. WIth its quick action you can change pitch effortlesly increasing the veraity of sound on your instrument. This not only makes you look good but astounds any audience you perform infornt of. A MUST have for any guitarist!!

yum yum ow. they sure are tasty these capo's but make sure you chew them before you swallow.
