A sturdy and well made product that significantly increases the overall strength of the hand, wrist and fingers. I’ve played guitar for many years so I don’t have particularly weak hands. I needed to strengthen my left hand to be able to barre on the much higher action and heavier strings of resonator guitars. I ordered the 5lb model and found that this gives me a very testing workout for the left hand. The company says that it’s 7lb model is for normal adults. I think Strings Direct judgement is more accurate, that the 5lb model is for most normal adults. I think most guitarists would need to start on the 5lb one and work up to the 7lb one as their strength increases. As always a first rate service from SD.
