OK I seem to be the only person unsure of this pedal, to be the highs are to harsh and the scoop isn't smooth enough. I tame this pedal by rolling back the guitars tone control to make it more usable. Used as a static wah you can get some better sounds from it. Probably going to end up modding this one to be honest, that may be the best thing about this pedal, there are a lot of online resources for mods and I'm sure one of them will give me the sound I'm after, plus it's not too hard to fit an LED in the process as if you do decide to run it off a 9v battery it'll drive you nuts that you can't tell whether you left it on, bet you go back and switch your amp on again just to check ;)

After putting together a pedalboard, I decided to purchase one of these soley on reputation only, having never tried one before. What can I say; no fancy bells or whistles just great tone. Strings Direct as usual delivered the goods next day as promised and even gave me a decent price match! Wah to go guys (sorry about that)!

I have a cry baby but not this model, i have the wah wah original model so i can't comment on this cry baby. i run my crybaby through a ashdown 40w fallen angel, its a valve amp and the two together just sound ace, the first time i pluged in i said to my self "hendrix". the only minor problem i have found with it is coz im left handed the amp and instrument leads cross over i have triped a few time coz of it, it won't be a problem for you right handed player. but apart from that its ace, one tip i have is to run other effects through it.

Sorry. this is my second review of this product.....because i changed my mind over it! why? because i put it in front of a valve amp for the first time. and, wow! it is still quite unreliable, but the sound now blows me away! i can sound like slash!

This pedal, although extremely basic gives all the Wah you'll ever need, it kicks serious ASS!

I know its not cool to slate them, but i've never liked mine. honestly. it is a pain to use easily on stage, sometimes i cant even tell if its engaged or not! the pot has died on me, and the replacemen t sounded no better. the action wasnt even that great, although the tone was good....but that wasnt worth the aggro really.

I'm a big fan of funk music and this pedal when used on a clean setting can give you all those 'Shaft' and Earth Wind and Fire tones you've only dreamed of. Highly durable, great for on stage use. Fantastic buy!!

this pedal is awesome!! the batterys last forever and it has a great wah sound on it. id recomend this to all slash fans who play guns n' roses, or hendrix...tis unbeatable
