Rotosound Pure Nickels Electric Guitar Strings
Rotosounds best "top of the range electrics" yet, comprimising solid nickel covers, with exceptional magnetic response, volume, clarity and tone. Truly the creme de la creme of electric guitar strings.

Roto Pure Nickel. I like.

I really like these strings. To my ears they aren't quite as zingy as the regular Rotos when first put on (although it's hard to be 100% sure), but they do seem to hang on to that tone for much longer.
I also find they have better string-to-string balance, especially the low E which with the regular nickels I felt was a little plummy at times - like it could do with being a gauge heavier.
Are they worth the price though? That's really up to the user.
For me the answer is yes, it's exactly what I want out of a set of strings (and as a bass player they're actually quite cheap compared to a set of bass strings!).
I just wish Roto did these in custom gauges, as I use a non-standard set for my 7-string guitar, and that means buying the Ernie Ball 'Classic Pure Nickel' ones instead.

I have been using rotosounds for a few years, best strings ive found although its always quite subjective as ive not come across many poor brands apart from freebies with guitars etc. I use 10s for my prs 513 and it sings out and has lovely tension on bending, im not sure if theres a massive life difference between these and standards but after 5 weeks of daily playing and teaching they come highly recommended as im just ordering 2 new sets!
