5 Great All Rounder

I have bought loads of these straps as they have never let me down. I had some for 10 years plus and they are as good today as when i bought them. I've never had an issue with the leather stretching. I've used them with strap locks and without. As for the length, they're not just great for "Kids who want to play around their knee's" they are also great for the more shapely guitarists like myself. I have tried other straps and always come back to these and at the price there's no competition.

I bought these as I'm currently on a tight budget (paying off a new guitar and bass). I needed two straps, one for each of the new instruments, and saw these. £11 for two straps... worth a go, at least in the short term. The weave of the strap is nice and thick, which gives a nice looking texture that I don't have on other poly straps I own. At 72" its longer than most people need it... but thats why it adjusts! No ordinary strap is long enough for me, so these are perfect. As for the comments about not being able to play with your guitar so low... plenty of bands have proven that idea wrong, and when I'm playing towards the punkier end, a low-slung guitar is part of the overall attitude. For metal playing, or anything else requiring more intricate control, you can simply make the strap shorter. Only problem I can see is with the leather ends. They're so thin, they're bound to stretch in no time. I'll be fitting some strap locks to mine soon enough, as I wouldn't trust the strap to last too long without. With a huge choice of colours, and costing less than 2 pints, you can't really go wrong with this strap.
3 Pandering to the kids.

I wish Ernie ball had kept the strats to a normal length, I recently bought some more and they are much longer than my older ones. The old ones are very easy to adjust because the buckle is in the gap between the leather and my body. BUT with the new ones the buckle is right in the middle of my back and I have to keep taking the guitar off to adjust it, putting it back on, trying it, taking it off, etc. I think they have pandered to the kids who for some reason want to hang the guitar around their knees, Ernie Ball should know that a guitar can't be played in that posistion.

My favourite but very FLAWED. These have been my favourite straps since the mid 80's. before the internet it was difficult to find them and I had to travel from Devon to London to buy them, about 6 at a time. I wanted them after seeing Eric Clapton and friends in 1986. Eric also had two customised with Rhinestones by Vasace. They are plain colours good to match with either guitar or clothing colours and with simple small leather ends and a nice gold Ernie ball logo. The buckle is/WAS easy to adjust. Here is the design problem with these straps, I can't belive they haven't sorted it out after all these years. They only use ONE thin piece of leather, this is NOT enough, the leather gets too soft instead of staying rigid and the hole gets soft and loose. They fall off VERY easily, and the leather stretches, I have got one where the leather has stretched long and curved like a banana! Before straps locks and rings people would have to use black tape around the leather. Eric clapton and others never used one without tape around the leather holding the hole closed because they pull off. Ernie ball strats WERE just the right length, the buckle was easily reachable a few inches up from the bottom of the guitar. BUT NOW they are making the straps much longer for some strange reason, and the buckle is now in the middle of my back. Its impossible to play the guitar at the length they are making it too, I think they're catering for the kids who hang them around their knees, completely impossible to play a guitar there.

These are great straps, they are plain and unobtrusive (not covered in fancy designs) but they get the job done, they are also long which for me in a huge bonus. Quality can't be faulted I have had some of these for over 10 years and they are 100%. They are also thin enough to fold up and fit in the pocket of your case so you can't lose them. They work well with Schaller Strap Locks (I don't use a strap with out strap locks)
5 Good Strap

What do you expect for a fiver? It's not going to set the world on fire. It's better than the Fender strap I was using - my guitar fell off of that and landed on my PodXT. Ouch!

This guitar strap is simple, strong, low cost and does its job perfectly. I've had the same black earnie ball strap attatched to my past 2 guitars and its in pretty much the same condition as when I bought it over 3 years ago. I've done countless gigs with this strap and I would recomend it to anyone.
5 Awesome!!!
Saleem
These straps are brilliant, they are long, comfortable, and they don't stretch as easy as other straps i have previously used. Possibly the best strap around, but i'll have to try Jim Dunlop's straps before i can guaruntee that. Oh, and by the way, for all you blink fans, they don't use these straps anymore, they started using Jim Dunlop Double-D straps since they came out.
4 Cool

Great strap for the price. I play in a band (www.antiherouk.co.uk) and the last strap i had snapped while i was on stage in mid jump. No chance of this one doing that though. Nice and strong

The actual strap is great, lightweight, tough and the buckle doesn't dig in. Problem is, it "creaks" as the cheap leather around the heel strap-button rubs against the guitar. Very distracting if you don't crank your amp and could also mar your guitar's finish. It looks like the eyelets won't take long to widen, either - bad news if you swap guitar 'n' straps regularly.

This Ernie Ball strap is the best that i have ever used in my 8 years of playing. the leather ends are durable and not prone to tearing o any sort of damage. It is twice the lenght of any standard strap and very very comfortable. If it's good enough for Mr. Clapton then it's good enough for anybody.
1 good but falls off
