Yes, I agree.WE WANT LARGE 'WHITE' THUMB PICKS.Please try and help this small but worthwhile minority. Thanks
Good Stuff
i bought this to see if it gave a better sound on the base strings than my thumb, and it certainly does. there's plenty of cut, and allows you to strum as if you were just using a normal pick. i'm a convert. the only reason i'm not giving it 5 is that it's the only thumbpick i've used, so i can't really compare.
Best thumb pick
For me the large Dunlop is the best thumb pick there is (OK I prefer the white ones but no-one seems to sell these now). Although it says 'large' they fit my smallish thumb perfectly.

Other picks give a different and often sharper sound but they feel really flimsy and with heavier strings (13 to 56) on my big-bodied Lowden, nothing other than these gives such a resonant bass, especially in altered tunings with the 6th tuned down to D or C.

They last forever as well. I had two which I used for over 8 years and only needed to replace them when, in quick succession, I lost one and my 5 year-old daughter stood on the other.

Note to StringsDirect: please stock the large white ones - they're so much easier to find when you drop them on the floor in gloomy folk clubs (nothing to do with the Black Sheep bitter)!
