5 MXR 6 Band

At first I was a bit sceptical about Eq pedals, after all what could they do to my sound that the EQ on my anp didn't? But boy am I glad i let myself be persuaded to try one of these.

I've had it for about 4 days now and have been experimenting with it, and let me tell you, it's not leaving my rig now it's in there.

This Eq is versatile despite having only 6 sliders. It's helped fatten up my sound and has helped towards great note separation/definition where some mud was present before.

Construction wise this thing is a steel brick, it seems pretty much bomb proof so no worries there. The switch is positive enough with a reassuring clunk to it, but not so much that you have to hammer it to kick in (although once on, I leave mine running all the time).

Also as a side note, the illuminated sliders look really cool too.
