MXR M-102 Dyna Comp

You may wish to request stock levels for this product if ordering multiple items

The Dyna Comp is a compressor that lets you set a maximum output level and the sensitivity at which it kicks in. This device can produce that percussive, clicky sound on a clean guitar that you've heard on so many pop hits. It can also even out the volume of sustained tones for mellow lead work, Power: Single 9 volt battery or Dunlop ECB-003 AC adapter Controls: Footswitch toggles effect on/bypass (red LED indicates on) Output knob sets compressed (attenuated) output level Sensitivity knob sets compression ratio (highest sensitivity is maximum compression) 4-3/8" x 2-3/8" x 1-1/4" 0.9lbs. 5 VERY NICE!

I've been using this little red box now for five years; I replaced my Boss CS-3 for the MRX Dyna comp as I was playing Country guitar at the time (using a Fender tele and Fender amp) and this thing is it!! instant classic clean country tone and I have to say that I have it on all the time. It's the best pedal-type compressor I rekon that I've come across. It is built like a brick sh*t house and works well. It comes with black rubber covers which fit over the two control knobs so you can adjust it with your feet but I find once you've got that idea setting, mark it and leave it. Cool pedal!
4 Brilliant Compressor

Compressor pedals are much maligned, or too often ignored anyway, and it's mainly because it's often a very subtle effect and it's hard to hear what it's doing for your sound. This is the exception to that rule. As soon as you kick this in you can feel it ironing out your picking dynamics and making fast lead lines flow more easily. Not to be left on all the time, but brilliant just where it's needed.
