That was not supposed to be a 5 rating. I'll give it a 5 for sound and a 2 for the one breaking so to balance out that accidental 5, I'll give it a 3.

I have to add my thoughts. I just got a set of these in .008 - .042. The sound is excellent however, I had a similar problem. When I tuned up the high E played for 10 minutes or so then retuned, it broke during tuning. I use String Savers and have never had this happen, even on other .008 E strings. I wouldn't have thought twice about it before reading the review from Biscuit. Seems like more then a coincidence which is unfortunate. They really do sound quite good.

I've bought two sets of 10-46 strings. With both of them the top E "unravelled" (it unwound itself from the ball!) almost immediately, and with one set the same happened to the B string. It is not like I am even having the chance of breaking them, the string-end untwists and gets looser and looser and then falls off: one lasted a week, the other only a day or two (say, four hours of playing)! I did not have this problem with the D'Addario strings I got to replace these. I'm using a Hohner G3T if that matters.
