imagine this metal thumb pick and 3 metal finger picks on a 12 string guitar tuned to open C. it is a BIG sound; bright and metallic and capable of far more dynamic range than you would expect depending on the attack you apply and where on the strings you apply it. they do take a lot of getting used to but having very weak nails i could never get the volume and brightness i wanted. The nails were always uneven and therefore the sound was inconsistent . now i can go back to using my nails for what they were intended for... biting.

highly recommended for people who use a high guage string, fits really well
