2 What - no holes?

I was going to fit a Sweet Spot to my mate's old Yamaha FG45 but he wasn't happy about me drilling holes for the jack. I got him to try one of these instead - (I'm always bold with other people's money). Fitting it was a doddle and although I was not too happy about it just slipping into place and being held by foam pads, the pickup is quite firm when seated. Some new Elixir 12s and power up the amp. The wood finish looks okay and the trailing lead is a bit dodgy and needs careful consideration, but the sound is great. The pickup gets all the tone and colour from the guitar - just stay away from computers and fluorescent lights as the single coil buzzes a bit when too close.
Maybe it's not as good as a Fishman Rare Earth, but it gets the job done for a lot less cash.
Overall an excellent and cost effective pickup, especially if you don't want to take sharp tools to your pride and joy.
4 Good pickup in the right hands

I have one of these and they do sound pretty sweet... as long as your guitar does, don't put it in a cheap guitar and expect it to sound wonderful because it won't! This is no fishman rare earth but it makes a respectable sound at a fraction of the price. A good buy.
