The problem we all have as guitarists who use a pick is control. Years ago my teacher used to bang on at me to get more control in my playing, and at the time I was using a pick too small for my hands and absolutely smooth, on HIS recommendation!
These picks stay steady between your fingers to prevent the micro movements that can throw your playing off and enable you to make the micro movements you want. Thickness is a matter of your personal preference but I don't think many people will use these and dismiss them very easily. The only other picks I have known to give this control is Awe-in One picks made in Singapore, but Jim Dunlop have got it right with these.
This pick is very unlikely to slip out of your hand and feels really comfortable and relaxed to play with. It works on acoustic and electric in my opinion. Everybody wants different things out of a pick but this is the one I have been looking for for a long time.
